What Makes Plastazote Foam a Phenomenal Choice of Material?
In contrast to other foams it is tough and flexible, defined by the regular shapes, sides and walls of the individual polyethylene cells. When Plastazote foam is compressed, each nitrogen filled cell acts like a balloon and causes the foam to bounce back into its original shape. This makes it an excellent choice for providing comfortable and durable neck immobilisation and support.
How Comfortable Is the Philadelphia Collar?
Many neck and throat surgeries have long recovery times and this collar has been designed to provide comfortable support during long-term recovery and rehabilitation. The lightweight design stops it from weighing down your neck and the adjustable straps mean you can change the amount of pressure to ensure the most comfortable fit for you.

A Philadelphia collar stabiliser is available as an additional option at the top of the page. It is available in one size and features additional anterior and posterior attachments that further restrict cervical movement. This is ideal for patients who require the highest level of immobilisation and support.
